Domestic air freight costs Australia
Air freight costs depend on the dimensions of the shipment and how much it weighs. This determines how much fuel is used.
Dimensions are used to calculate the cubic (volumetric) weight and are compared with the actual (dead) weight of the shipment. The higher of the two will be what your basic charges will be based on. Depending on the shipment, there may be other fees which apply.
Length x Width x Height (in metres) = cubic weight (in kilograms)
Freight can be calculated by multiplying the weight of the cargo by the corresponding fee per kilogram.
